Joy Frascinella

Joy Frascinella, Head of PR

Joy joined the PRI in August 2014. She is responsible for managing global media relations across the PRI.

Prior to joining the PRI, Joy was a freelance PR consultant working with a wide variety of international clients in the financial, professional services and technology sectors. She has 20 years of PR experience and has worked with leading investment banks including Citigroup, UBS and HSBC as well as law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Lovells and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. Before moving into PR, she spent 10 years as a freelance journalist, writing for publications including the Washington Post in the US and the NewScientist in London.

Joy holds a B.S. degree from Barry University in Florida and did post-graduate work in journalism at Emerson College in Boston.

Mark Kolmar

Mark Kolmar, Head of Publishing and Digital

Mark joined the PRI in January 2015. He oversees the writing, editing and production of all PRI content and manages major outreach projects such as the Annual Report.

Mark previously worked at Reuters as Editorial Projects Manager and as Online Editor, at Thomson Financial as Online Editor and as a reporter, and at Euromoney as a reporter and a graduate trainee.

Mark holds a degree in English from the University of Cambridge.

Alessandro Boaretto

Alessandro Boaretto, Head of Design and Brand

Alessandro joined the PRI in July 2013. He oversees use of the PRI brand and creates visual assets for publications, event materials, presentations, videos and the PRI websites.

Before joining the PRI, Alessandro worked for twelve years as a graphic designer for typographic companies and specialised graphic and marketing service providers around Italy, Switzerland and the UK.

Alessandro holds a diploma in Graphic Design & Communication and a certificate in web design & multimedia.

Ruth Wallis

Ruth Wallis, Content Editor

Ruth joined the PRI in September 2016. She is responsible for editing publications and articles; assisting with social media; and oversight of outbound communications.

Prior to joining the PRI she worked in not-for-profit communications writing and editing speeches, articles, blogs and corporate publications.

She has a double honours degree in English Literature and Spanish from the University of Southampton and a multimedia journalism diploma from the National Council for the Training of Journalists. 

She spent a year abroad at university teaching English in Chile via English Opens Doors, an initiative by the Chilean Ministry of Education sponsored by the United Nations Development Program. 

Claire Dickinson

Claire Dickinson, Head of Events Content

Claire joined the PRI in August 2016. She oversees the programme content for PRI in Person and other PRI events.

Prior to joining PRI Claire spent ten years managing event content in the insurance sector, initially at Incisive Media and then at the Chartered Insurance Institute. She started her career as a conference producer at IQPC, where she specialised in energy events. She has experience of developing new teams and processes, and has launched events in a wide variety of formats, including conferences, awards ceremonies, webinars and training programmes.

Claire holds a BA in English Literature from the University of Sheffield and an MA from King’s College London.

Laura James

Laura James, Head of Events Logistics

Laura joined the PRI in May 2013. She oversees the logistics of PRI in Person and all other PRI events.

Laura was previously the Events Operations Manager for the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Over 15 years, she has worked within the not-for-profit, corporate and commercial sectors at organisations including Freshfields, Nuffield Trust, the British Institute of Radiology, Brintex and Praxity.

Laura holds a BA from the University of Winchester and Managing Safely in the Exhibition and Events Industry IOSH certification.

Meegan Marais

Meegan Marais, Events Administrator

Meegan joined the PRI in February 2016. She oversees the registration and administration for PRI in Person and all other PRI events. 

Previously, Meegan worked for a content production agency as an Event Coordinator and was responsible for the delegate management and logistical planning on a range of corporate events, including conferences, product launches, award ceremonies and dinners. 

Meegan holds a degree in Business and Events Management from the University of Gloucestershire.
