PRI Collaboration platform, intern

LOCATION: London  

DURATION: Six months

The PRI’s Collaboration Platform provides PRI signatories with a private forum to pool resources, share information and engage with listed companies, policymakers and other actors in the investment value chain on ESG issues. Over 500 PRI signatories have been involved in at least one collaborative initiative since the platform was launched at the end of 2006, and more than 900 collaborative proposals have been posted. 

The post-holder will proactively work with the current PRI Collaboration Platform by ensuring the content is up to date, the information is successfully tracked, newsletters and alerts are regularly sent out and statistics on the use of it by PRI signatories are regularly analysed. This position requires some knowledge and enthusiasm for sustainability and responsible investment. The ideal candidate has strong writing skills and is at ease with using IT tools to upload online content and track information in our CRM system.

senior policy manager - maternity 

LOCATION: London (based at PRI office) or Brussels (home-based)  

DURATION :  Maternity cover, 10 months fixed term

The policy team provides tools and insight to international standard setters, signatories and policy makers to advance progress towards a regulatory and investment environment consistent with the implementation of PRI’s Mission Statement and the six Principles.

The successful applicant will be manage the day to day activities of the PRI’s EU and UK policy engagement activities. This includes supporting the PRI’s contribution to the EU High-Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance and working with stakeholders to implement the recommendations of the PRI’s UK Fiduciary Duty roadmap. They will also support the broader objectives of the team, including supporting and increasing PRI signatories’ engagement with sustainable finance policy. 

The senior policy manager will report to the head of policy.

PROJECT MANAGER - DEFORESTATION SPECIALIST

LOCATION: London

This role provides many opportunities to work with the PRI’s extensive global network of investors and other non-governmental organisations. It also provides opportunities to travel and present in at major investment conferences and provides an excellent opportunities to build a profile in the responsible investment industry.

This role requires travel within Europe and internationally and to occasionally conduct conference calls in different time zones outside normal working hours.

Africa Network manager

LOCATION: London

This is an important support role within PRI’s Global Networks & Outreach (GNO) team. The role is specifically focused on enhancing PRI’s overall market impact and signatory satisfaction in Africa, with a predominant focus on servicing PRI’s network of approximately 50 signatories in South Africa.  This part time role involves supporting the coordination of PRI’s signatory recruitment and coverage in South Africa, as well as assisting with the coordination of PRI’s other local market activities to support signatories’ implementation of the PRI across different asset classes, such as equities, fixed income, private equity, property, ESG-themed investments etc.

policy intern

LOCATION: London

DURATION:  30 hours per week for 10 weeks

The PRI is offering a 10-week paid internship in the Policy and Research team. The individual should have a good understanding of corporate reporting practices. A business, accounting or finance degree or equivalent job experience is desirable. The project is to assist the policy team to examine corporate reporting practices in relation to the impact of climate change on asset valuations and subsequent public reporting.
