The Head of Central Support leads the London-based team supporting GNO’s local Network Managers (NMs) and the team’s management to enhance their overall effectiveness in helping signatory implement the Principles. The successful candidate will report directly to the Co-Directors of GNO. He/she will manage a team of three other London-based professionals and help manage one other US-based professional.

head of reporting & assessment (maternity cover)

LOCATION: London

CONTRACT: 9-12 months, starting April 2018

REMUNERATION: 45 -60k (DOE)

This role oversees the 10-member team implementing the annual PRI Reporting and Assessment (R&A) process and analysing its outputs. Signatories to the PRI are required each year to disclose their responsible investment activities,. The R&A team manages the framework used to report against, maintains and operates the reporting system and delivers a variety of outputs including data analysis.

This is an internship opportunity within the PRI Global Networks & Outreach (GNO) team, which is responsible for investor and stakeholder relations and the acquisition of new PRI signatories. This role will ideally suit a recent graduate or a post graduate/master student with a degree in finance/economics/ other relevant subject – with an interest in gaining experience in the responsible investment and institutional finance sectors.

This fixed-term position will be responsible for developing and delivering a global programme of workshop-style events as well as broader communications activity such as writing web copy and social media. The Head of Southern Europe role is a newly created position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the PRI’s signatory and stakeholder relationship management and other local market activities in Spain, Italy and Portugal. The successful candidate will work closely with other PRI colleagues in the UK, Continental Europe and Latin America.

This role will support a multi-team project to develop, deliver and promote an online platform to i) support collaborative investor engagement activity and ii) information exchange by PRI staff and signatories. This platform will replace and broaden the scope of the existing PRI Collaboration Platform, which houses collaborative investor activities on ESG issues with investee companies.

This is an opportunity within the social engagement team, which is responsible for coordinating collaborative investor activities and developing external knowledge on ESG issues with invested companies. Including developing internal collaboration on social themes with the PRI policy and investment practices teams on social issues. The successful candidate will be responsible to support the delivery of services and outputs (i.e. signatory collaborative engagements, investors/company roundtables, webinars, podcasts, public policy consultations and publications) focused on social issues. This could include but not be limited to topics such as human rights, inequality, migration.

The role will report into the Head of the Americas with a secondary reporting line into the Head of GNO Central Support in London. As such the candidate plays a pivotal role as a bridge between the London head office and the US team. The day-to-day job, among other things, involves research and analytical work, support in coordinating meetings, onboarding and other support to US signatories, admin support and regular communication with London.
