ESG integration: How do asset owners and investment managers incorporate ESG data into their investment process?
Incorporating environmental, social and governance (ESG) data into a new or existing investment process can take time. One asset owner’s approach can differ to another asset owner’s approach and almost certainly, an asset owner’s approach will differ to an investment manager’s approach. It can therefore be difficult to identify the most suitable tools and structures to incorporate ESG data into your firm.
The PRI will present on the different variables that are often considered when adapting the existing investment process and will reveal different tools that are used by investors to embed ESG data into investment decisions, , some of which are detailed in PRI’s new ESG integration guide.
APG Asset Management and Martin Currie Investment Management will be presenting their investment process and ESG tools and will reveal their invaluable insights on their journey towards incorporating ESG data into their investment process. The event will finish with the PRI, APG Asset Management and Martin Currie Investment Management discussing the difficulties that investors face when incorporating ESG data into investment decisions and how to overcome them.
